Model sheet challenge part 4!

well here's the 4th and final part of this challenge. I'm not too happy with my 4th take of this challenge, since I had to rush it more than I would have liked too. If I ever find time and motivation, I'll try to redo the model sheet one more time from scratches.

Anyways, here's the latest revised version!




And here's a compilation of all 4 version. I'm impressed at the progress that I did in only 4 months.

another character turnaround revised

yup, 3rd version. Made a lot of changes to this one. Made her look (way)more mature, and tried giving her more personality. Also remembered the joy of drawing tall characters.



By next Monday I'll try to upload the layouts I've drawn/painted in my layout class.

Life drawing

here are some life drawing studies I finally scanned in. legs, feet and arms. I have hands and heads somewhere, I just have to dig them out of my huge life drawing newsprint pile.

while I am remembering that I have a blog, here's some more art. All were drawn in an awesome recycled paper sketchbook, explaining why the paper is brownish. Seriously though, the sketchbook is great. It holds pretty much everything well. Even markers don't bleed out too much on it!

This post is making me realize that I should stop drawing girls and draw boys. I draw waaaay too many girls.

model sheet challenge part 2

Part 2 of the model sheet challenge we're doing in my class. I drew the first one a month ago, got some revisions on it, got highly influenced by The Prince Of Egypt and improved my understanding of anthro feet viewed from full front. I'm happy with my improvement over such a short period of time.

...I already see some things I'd like to improve on her. oh well, I have to draw her again 2 more times so I have plenty of time to modify her
