update? what's an update?

okay so really, I update my deviantart ( http://magnastorm.deviantart.com/ ) quite a bit more than my blog because it's a lot quicker. So really that would be the place to check for updates. Plus I also have cute custom plush on there that I make.

Anyways, here's another blog resurrection update.

I've been working in a little recycled paper sketchbook. Here's some of the little illustrations that were born in there.

summer drawings and progress stuff

well it looks like I only remember about this blog once every blue moon. I will be making an effort to update it more often though. School started and I'm in my final year of animation so I should have more stuff to show this year.

So here's what I've been up to this summer. Didn't do much experimenting , just doodled while babysitting.
Right now I have a challenge going on; to draw 2 finished illustrations per week until the end of October. The first 2 drawings are the ones for this week. I'll try to remember to post their progress.

Model sheet challenge part 4!

well here's the 4th and final part of this challenge. I'm not too happy with my 4th take of this challenge, since I had to rush it more than I would have liked too. If I ever find time and motivation, I'll try to redo the model sheet one more time from scratches.

another character turnaround revised

yup, 3rd version. Made a lot of changes to this one. Made her look (way)more mature, and tried giving her more personality. Also remembered the joy of drawing tall characters.



By next Monday I'll try to upload the layouts I've drawn/painted in my layout class.
